Job Summary
We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards and comply with relevant regulations. This role involves conducting inspections, testing materials, and collaborating with production teams to uphold quality systems and processes.
Responsibilities
- Maintain HACCP programs as well as prerequisite Food Safety programs.
- Document control of Production Paperwork at floor level.
- Allergen Testing, Water Activity, ATP testing methods.
- Control of in house retention samples as well as micro analysis preparations.
- Assist and participate in the training of all plant personnel in GMPs and related quality systems.
- Provide expertise and remain current in regulations related to food safety and the operation of a food manufacturing facility.
- Support the Quality Assurance Department.
- Comply with GMP’s and GLP’s.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a QA/QC position, preferably in an FDA regulated facility.
- Working knowledge of FDA regulations and requirements.
- Experience in food manufacturing
- Experience with and enforcing an HACCP programs.
- Good communication skills and proficient computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Self-motivated , have a strong sense of urgency and a bias for action.
- Flexibility in a challenging and complex work environment while firmly maintaining compliance and upholding standards.
