Snider-Blake Personnel is seeking candidates for a dedicated Maintenance Technician for a facility in the Milford, OH area. In this role, you'll be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of assembly lines and day-to-day production. You'll be responsible for everything from routine maintenance and repairs to contributing to the development of new product lines.
Pay: $20-$22/hr
Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair assembly equipment to minimize downtime.
- Set up and configure production lines and associated equipment for optimal performance.
- Collaborate on research and development of new product lines and equipment.
- Maintain a safe work environment by ensuring proper equipment operation and electrical safety.
- Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs and services.
- Manage inventory of spare parts and materials for assembly equipment.
- Work with Account Managers and Sales to order necessary packing supplies.
- Safely operate forklifts and hand jacks.
- Train department staff on equipment operation and maintenance procedures.
- Work flexible hours and shifts as needed.
- Regular and predictable attendance required.
Certifications:
- Forklift Certified
- Familiarity with assembly, warehouse, and office equipment sufficient to operate, repair and maintain equipment
- Ability to read a tape measure
Physical Demands:
- Frequently required to move around the warehouse and office area, repairing equipment and demonstrating equipment operation throughout the workday.
- Digital dexterity and hand/eye coordination in operation and repair of office, assembly and warehouse equipment throughout the workday.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds frequently throughout the day.
- Organized and capable of coordinating repair assignments while completing other maintenance requirements.
