Compounder

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Compounder to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the production process by accurately measuring, mixing, and preparing various compounds in accordance with established guidelines and quality standards. This position requires a strong understanding of materials handling, laboratory practices, and adherence to CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices).

Responsibilities

• Prepare and compound raw materials according to specified formulas and procedures.
• Operate and maintain equipment used in the compounding process, including mixers and packaging machinery.
• Ensure all materials are handled safely and stored properly to prevent contamination.
• Conduct quality checks throughout the compounding process to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Document all processes accurately in accordance with CGMP requirements.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency through lean manufacturing practices.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Familiarity with materials handling and laboratory procedures is advantageous.
• Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of machining processes may be beneficial for specific compounding tasks.
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles will be considered an asset.
• Ability to fabricate components as needed for the compounding process is desirable.

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
