We are currently seeking a team member who believes in the extra mile philosophy to fulfill our Strategic Solutions Technician role. The Strategic Solutions Technician supports Senior Technicians and will help manage projects at any phase in the project life cycle including discovery of subcontractors, supervision, working alongside, and deployment across multiple projects.

NOTE: Travel is a must and often in 7 day deployments, approximately 75% of the time and includes some weekends.
Responsibilities:
Liaise with product engineers, on-site customers, and contractors to ensure each project is organized, safely completed, executed on-time and within budget.
Read blueprints for civil works necessary for site preparation prior to installation of equipment.
Vet in-market sub-contractors and full cycle management for all trade work.
Assist in the installation and repair of technology hardware at customer sites.
Assist the Project Leader in forecasting and ordering necessary items to complete site work: dumpsters, portable restrooms, excavation equipment, backfill stone, concrete, electrical supplies per blueprint, plumbing supplies per blueprint, and technology system specific components.
Assist in inventory management of technology hardware and manage company tools and equipment allocated to the installation.
Execute civil works for site preparation, which consists of preparing trenches though the use of an excavator, skid steer, forklift, concrete saw, backhoe, jackhammer, etc.
Install PVC ducting, sump pump, and drainage components according to blueprints.
Follow schematics to install power box, including set up of wireless internet data signal and termination of lines supporting the system in the ground.
Install poles, pull electrical lines, and apply signage necessary for each site.
Setup a variety of camera types: AVPR, AVFR, and CCTV.
Install ground level components of technology hardware, test for deployment, and calibration.
Interact with customer/s while onsite to ensure constant communication between team and customer, minimize operational impact on customer, and ensure safe working environment.
Education or Experience:
3 years construction experience
Electrical experience in a similar role is a plus
Must have a clean driving record
Experience operating light equipment on worksites
Certificates and Licenses:
Valid Class C Driver's License or state(s) equivalent and must be insurable to drive by company standards.
Forklift certification obtained after employment
Skills and Abilities:
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
Familiarization with plumbing and electrical.
Knowledge of low voltage and Ethernet terminations.
Working knowledge of all construction types.
Ability to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and technical manuals.
Ability to learn and operate provided service equipment and hand tools.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Must be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment.
Basic computer and smart phone skills.
Knowledge of how mechanical and electrical components aid in troubleshooting.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Superior customer service and communication skills (both written and verbal).
Basic understanding in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Comfortable participating and/or hosting video meetings internally and with customers using a technology platform.
Ability to pass background check and drug screen
When traveling, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside working environments, moving mechanical parts/equipment, fumes, or airborne particles, and the noise level is usually moderate to high.
