This posting is for outdoor labor entailing extensive walking in varying weather conditions throughout the year. You must be physically fit, able to pass a drug test and physical exam, and enjoy working in field conditions. It is an hourly position with overtime (over 40 hours/week), including benefits (medical, dental & vision) and a company truck.
Sniffer Field Technicians are also required to become a licensed drone pilot to assist in the company's aerial operations (SnifferDRONE, Aerial Mapping, etc). Sniffer will help train, and reimburse expenses related to obtaining your FAA Part 107 unmanned aircraft systems (UAS) drone pilot certification. Obtaining your drone pilot certification will provide additional skills to benefit our company and our field services work. Responsibilities
Perform field work - gas emissions monitoring in accordance with procedures and regulations
Manage project scheduling, coordinate with customer(s) and internally
Submit accurate and professional field data and reports
Work with customers to ensure complete satisfaction
Safely travel approx 50%
Work on continuing education through certifications including FAA Part 107 UAS pilot certification
Minimum physical requirements
Stand/walk on feet for 10 hours per day on uneven ground (concrete, rock, grass, mud/dirt, etc.)
Carry 15-20 lbs. of equipment in a backpack
Walk, turn, bend, reach & pull bodyweight plus backpack weight throughout the day
Carry additional equipment throughout facilities, up to 100 lbs. (ladders, water coolers, additional monitoring equipment, etc.)
Work in all variations of weather (extreme heat, cold, windy, etc.)
Qualifications
Professional verbal and written communication skills
Basic ability to use Microsoft Office products including Word and Excel
Must have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Must be able to work in the United States (eVerify required)
Must be able to pass a drug test and physical
HS diploma required. Minimum two-year technical degree - college degree preferred
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Always be alert – use sight, sound, smell, and communicate, to proactively work safely in all cases
Be flexible and work within a team environment
Interest and ability to learn new skills, work among a team, and grow personally
Salary : $18 - $25
