Job Summary: Under the direction of the Custodial Supervisor, temporary/seasonal workers will perform a variety of duties and assist with projects relating to the upkeep of buildings/grounds. Duties performed will vary depending on area of assignment.

Hourly Rate: $26.50/hour per the Casual Labor Rate Schedule

Qualifications/Education And Experience
All offers of employment are contingent upon satisfactory results of background checks with prior employers/professional references; satisfactory outcome of a criminal history background check (includes fingerprinting); satisfactory outcome of sexual misconduct information from prior school district employers; and approval by the Snohomish School Board.

- Cleans assigned areas of school facility to provide a sanitary and safe environment in accordance with school district standards.
- Assists with the systematic turnover of buildings in preparation for the upcoming school year, including mopping, dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, emptying, and cleaning wastebaskets, washing windows, washing walls and washing woodwork.
- Moves items such as boxes and furniture from one district location to another. Packs and loads products onto trucks as needed.
- Assists with floor care, such as carpet cleaning, buffing, and waxing of tiled floors.
- Deep cleans and disinfects restrooms, locker rooms, clinics, drinking fountains, etc.
- Completes pressure washing and light grounds maintenance. Keeps buildings, interior/exterior courtyards and grounds free of trash, debris, and graffiti/chewing gum.
- Works from specific instructions and is expected to perform duties independently.
- Makes sure all doors, windows, and gates are locked as appropriate.
- Work may involve the use of mechanical equipment.

Qualifications/Education And Experience
- One (1) year experience or training in custodial or related fields preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English.
