PURPOSE
To provide effective leadership and supervision of the Slot Technician team while ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of all slot machines and gaming devices. This role is responsible for maintaining the highest standards of technical service and professionalism, fostering a team environment focused on operational excellence, and delivering an elevated guest experience through timely support, seamless floor operations, and proactive service delivery.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervise and Support Technical Team: Train, schedule, and monitor Slot Technicians; assign daily tasks, manage performance, and provide guidance on best practices while maintaining a fair and respectful work environment.
- Manage Technical Operations: Oversee all slot machine maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, and new installations or removals, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with gaming regulations.
- Ensure Regulatory and Policy Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to IC, NIGC, and WSGC regulations, and enforce all casino and departmental policies to ensure a compliant and secure gaming environment.
- Inventory and Resource Management: Maintain accurate inventory of spare parts, research and source materials as needed, and ensure adequate stock levels to support uninterrupted machine operation.
- Optimize Team Efficiency and Scheduling: Monitor team workload, adjust scheduling to minimize overtime, and maintain high levels of operational productivity across shifts.
- Promote Guest Service Excellence: Deliver and model outstanding guest service, fostering a welcoming atmosphere and responding to internal and external guest needs with professionalism and care.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exhibit clear, respectful communication and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills to build effective working relationships within the team and across departments.
- Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management to support overall department success and operational goals.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Associates (AA) Degree from a two (2) year College or a Diploma from a Technical/Gaming School, and/or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Two (2) years of Slot Technician experience.
Skills and Abilities:
- Effective Communication: Ability to communicate clearly and professionally in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong Interpersonal and Written Skills: Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction across all levels of the organization.
- Mathematical and Cash Handling Proficiency: Proven ability to perform accurate mathematical calculations and handle cash responsibly in a fast-paced environment.
- Critical Thinking and Problem Solving: Strong analytical skills with a demonstrated ability to assess situations, identify solutions, and resolve issues efficiently.
- Technical and Computer Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, and Word; comfortable learning and using other operational software systems as required.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively and maintain productive working relationships with all casino departments to support seamless operations.
PREFERRED
Education and Experience:
- One (1) year of experience leading others in a supervisory or manager role.
- One (1) year experience in Information Technology (IT) hardware troubleshooting.
- A Certification.
