This role includes, but not limited to: supporting students in grades 6-8 by providing academic, social, and emotional guidance; offering individual and group counseling sessions to help students navigate adolescence and overcome challenges. The role requires active collaboration with fellow counselors, success coordinators, administrators, teachers, social workers, and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to student well-being. The counselor also develops and implements programs aimed at promoting academic success, career exploration, and positive mental health.
