Snow Shoveler

Earn Extra Money this Winter! - Snow Pushers is a snow removal company serving residents and businesses located throughout Indianapolis and nearby suburbs. We are seeking independent contractors for the busy winter season. Candidates must have flexible availability to include mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.

This is an on-call position that is dependent on snowfall. Often times we have little to no notice on when we have to go out to clear snow for our customers. Average hours per week range from 5 to 20 or more. This job requires that you have your own vehicle to travel to various worksites. You will work outside in the elements, be on your feet for extended periods of time, bending, crouching, walking, lifting hands and arms above shoulders and head. Candidates are required to dress appropriately for the elements and be ready to work.

Must Have:

• Clean background
• Work boots/shoes that are weather proof for keeping your feet dry
• Winter gear including jacket, hats, gloves and socks
• Transportation to the job site
• Dedicated phone number for contact
• Able to work well with others
• Drivers License

Responsibilities/Qualifications:

• Dependable, reliable and punctual
• Work independently and efficiently
• Ability to work long hours; early morning and late at night
• Shoveling snow from sidewalks, stairs, walkways, driveways, applying salt and other duties as assigned
• Available the entire snow season
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Must be 18 years or older

Compensation:

• $14-15 depending on performance
