POSITION SUMMARY

Provides administrative support to management, ensuring smooth daily operations, while assisting with special projects and studies. Composes and prepares internal and external correspondence, reports, and other complex documents. In a highly professional manner, screens incoming calls and handles mail. Schedules meetings and maintains departmental calendars. Creates and maintains a comprehensive filing and inventory system.

Starting wage between $33.48/hr. - $40.18/hr. depending on experience.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Verifiable experience in ordering parts and inventory management involving tracking stock, forecasting demand, and establishing clear reordering processes to ensure timely availability of parts for maintenance, repair, and production 
• Training in or experience managing a technical trades office.
• Must possess the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, employees, guests and the general public verbally and in writing
• Accomplished at designing reports and writing business correspondence, proofreading and editing written correspondence
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, browser-based research tools, Workday, and Adobe Acrobat Professional
• A valid California driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
• Able to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
