What are the responsibilities and job description for the Events and Partnership Manager position at Snowbasin Resort?
Scope of Work:
We are lookin for a skilled Events and Partnership Manager to join the Snowbasin Team. The Events and Sponsorship Manager leads oversight, execution and experience of Snowbasin’s public facing events. This includes but is not limited to Blues & Brews, SnowWiesn Oktoberfest, Halloween, Christmas Eve, and other events available to the public. In addition, this role will be a conduit sourcing and securing sponsorship revenue.
Primary Duties:
- Develop new events, experiential programming, and activation ideas to enhance the guest experience and maximize partner involvement.
- Primary event contact, providing internal communication to employees and ensuring logistics are organized prior to each date.
- Oversee community activations, including the Mountain Market at SnowWiesn Oktoberfest. Recruiting vendors, managing pre-arrival communication, set-up and take-down.
- Collaborate with Snowbasin sponsors for effective event activation and coordinate the implementation of brand partner deliverables. Including but not limited to, event activations, business unit promotions, signage, social media inclusions, and digital placements.
- Oversee event experience, planning activities and games to keep guests engaged.
- Partner with Snowbasin departments on optimization of each event operating area, including Food & Beverage, Guest Services, Lift Operations, Ticket Sales and more.
- Utilize feedback from experience surveys to adjust and improve events.
- Ability to conceptualize and ideate new events and partnership offerings that will help elevate and evolve the Resorts' event and partnerships portfolio in collaboration with the marketing team.
- Pull necessary permits and abide by County and State requirements.
Secondary Duties:
- As time allows, assist with non-public events, including Spartan Race, 29029 and others.

Requirements:
- Proven experience planning and promoting small-to-mid scale events or animation programming required.
- Understanding of events planning/operations; a pulse on current trends as well as an ability to keep events relevant and fresh required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; high proficiency in Excel required.
- Passionate outdoor enthusiast with a love for the mountain lifestyle.
- Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to drive a motor vehicle and valid driver's license
