What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lift Operator - Winter 24 / 25 position at Snowbasin Resort?
SUMMARY
The Lift operator is responsible for safely loading and unloading guests of all ages and abilities using our chairlifts. Operators will act as a professional resort representative creating the best environment for guests and employees. With service as our product, ensuring a safe and wonderful experience is a primary focus for all Lift Operators.
WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?
Duties and responsibilities
- Operate multiple Lifts, Gondolas, Tow and Carpets for the guests
- Follow company / department safety policies and procedures.
- Able to work independently or in a small group to accomplish daily job-related tasks.
- Complete pre-operational procedures, and inspections.
- Assist in snow removal, daily set up and routine maintenance of work areas.
- Anticipate guests’ needs and provide service above and beyond guest expectations.
- Remain alert for guests improperly loading and unloading the ski lifts to ensure their safety
- Assist with completing lift closing procedures.
- Work with all mountain departments respectfully in assisting and resolving issues that could arise during the operations.
