What are the responsibilities and job description for the Telecom Technician I position at Snowbasin Resort?
SUMMARY: Support installation, configuration, repair and maintenance of the following systems at the resort. Phones, two way radios, water/sewer scada, building audio, security/fire alarms, cameras, digital signage, wifi condition monitoring.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned):
- Physical Network Backbone—build, maintain and troubleshoot the company fiber optic and copper communications network.
- Run network cabling under supervision with industry best practices. Learn routes through buildings and conduit systems connecting buildings.
- Knowledge of various low voltage systems (ethernet, 24v, RF, audio, radar, etc).
- Support and perform preventative maintenance
- Install or replace network devices
EQUIPMENT USED: Datacom hand tools. Datacom diagnostic tools
QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with copper systems or aspects of low voltage systems
