What are the responsibilities and job description for the Meat Processor position at Snowden's Sausage?
Summary:
Snowden's Sausage is looking for a motivated individual with ability to work in a team oriented environment to complete daily tasks. Our ideal candidate will have great attention to detail as well as excellent time management skills. Our candidate will be reliable and consistent with daily attitude and work goals.
Our normal work hours are 4:00 A.M to 1:00 A.M.
Essential Functions:
- Ability to work in a team effort on a processing line
- Ability to follow instructions in an efficient manner
- Ability to read and identify product labels
- Ability to inspect meat for raw contaminants
- Ability to report any concerns regarding machines to supervisor
- Knows and adheres to safety procedures of good manufacturing procedure
- Ensure that product is taken care of and minimal waste is involved
- Ability to perform any and all other duties assigned by management
- Ability to show up on time each and every day unless for an emergency
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for up to 8 hours
- Must be able to bend over for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs over head on occasion
- Must be able to stand in one place for prolonged periods of time
