Clubhouse Housekeeper

Reports to: Executive Housekeeper
Supervisors: No supervisory duties are included in this position.
Classification: Non-Exempt

Job Knowledge and Expectations

• Knowledgeable about maintaining, cleaning, and preserving a variety of surfaces.
• Follows instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies.
• Able to perform required roles in emergency situations.
• Maintains cleanliness and orderliness in locker rooms and fitness areas.

Essential Functions

Front Desk Area:

• Sweep stairs.
• Check entrance doors every two hours; wipe doors and mirrors.
• Vacuum carpet twice daily.

Cardio Room:

• Replace headphones and stock towels.
• Vacuum fitness areas daily (12:00 PM - 3:30 PM).
• Wipe entrance doors, windows, mirrors, and machines at points of contact.
• Clean and organize the hand towel station.
• Wipe down machines completely (Thursdays 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM).

Aerobics Room (Daily 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM):

• Mop and clean mirrors.
• Stock towels and remove trash.
• Wipe weights, balls, and mats.

Kids Club:

• Vacuum, dust, and mop.
• Clean and stock bathrooms.

Locker Rooms:

• Wash restroom floors, showers, toilets, mirrors, and walls; clean basins, lavatories, steam rooms, and saunas.
• Restock supplies (tissue, toilet paper, towels, soap, etc.).
• Mop all floors and vacuum offices and spa rooms.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and transport towels to/from laundry.
• Clean and empty garbage cans and maintain hot tub and sauna areas.

Education and Experience

• 1 year of related experience preferred.

Licenses and Special Requirements

• Locker rooms are gender specific. This position requires a male candidate for the men's locker room.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform strenuous work.
• Frequent lifting, bending, climbing, stooping, and pulling.
• Continuous standing and walking; use ladders when required.
• Potential exposure to extreme heat, cold, human blood pathogens, or infectious materials.
