Supervises: None
Classification: Exempt
Job Summary
Works across all departments to positively impact revenue, member experience, and engagement. Responsible for driving membership growth, ensuring a seamless member onboarding experience, and contributing to the Club’s overall strategic direction through member events and retention. Increasing participation and member engagement through relevant programming, strategic event pricing, and unique experiences for members and guests.
Essential Functions
Leadership
- Contributes to cultivating a positive work culture.
Sales and Marketing
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to attract new members and retain existing ones.
- Define target markets and utilize digital tools to drive prospect engagement and monitor current member engagement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with current members to support and grow the member referral program
Club Structure and Documentation
- Participate in consistently updating and maintaining key Club documents, including the membership plan, rules and regulations, membership applications, etc.
- Communicate potential and current member feedback to the leadership team, ensuring concerns are addressed, and their positive and negative experiences are recognized.
Member Engagement and Events
- Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing events designed to attract and retain prospective members that highlight the Club’s unique offerings.
- Assist and direct new member orientation programs, including tours, new member welcome gifts, emails, etc.
- Serve as an ongoing resource for existing members after onboarding, addressing questions, managing the 30-day list, and facilitating upgrades, downgrades, and other adjustments.
- Increase participation and member engagement through relevant programming, strategic event pricing, and unique experiences for members and guests.
- Assist in a programming strategy built on quantitative member data and qualitative feedback.
- Responsible for consistently gathering actionable member feedback to evolve reoccurring events and future strategies.
- Foster relationships with members, prospects, and community stakeholders.
- Attend gatherings and events, including those on holidays and weekends.
Non-Essential
- Collaborate with Club leadership to ensure documents align with the Club’s vision, values, service standards, and strategic goals.
- Maintain a detailed sales database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
- Work closely with the Director of Marketing and Communications to create marketing materials that attract new members and encourage the engagement of existing members.
- Professionally represent Snowmass Club at all times.
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience
- GED required, and bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Three years of experience in sales and marketing in a hospitality setting preferred.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience with CRM or membership management tools preferred.
- Initiative-taking, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Analytical ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable strategies.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Must reach, bend, stoop, stand, and lift 40 pounds.
- Must be able to sit for prolonged periods.
- Moderate noise level in the work environment.
