Audio/Video Installer

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Audio Visual Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the design, installation, and maintenance of audio-visual systems. This position requires a blend of technical expertise and hands-on experience to ensure high-quality audio and visual performance for various events and installations.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement audio-visual systems tailored to client specifications.
• Install, configure, and maintain audio-visual equipment including projectors, sound systems, and video conferencing tools.
• Intense attic work.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware issues to ensure seamless operation during events.
• Great soft skills and patience.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide technical support during events.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilize hand tools for installation and repair tasks while adhering to safety standards.
• Manage cabling and low voltage installations to maintain organized and efficient setups.
• Document all installations, configurations, and repairs for future reference.

Experience
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

• Proficiency in computer hardware with a strong understanding of E & I (Electrical & Instrumentation).
• Experience in software troubleshooting related to audio-visual systems.
• Mechanical knowledge relevant to the installation and maintenance of AV equipment.
• Familiarity with hand tools used in the installation process.
• Ability to telecommunicate effectively with team members and clients for remote support when necessary.
• Knowledge of cabling techniques and low voltage systems is essential.
• Experience using a voltmeter for testing electrical components is preferred.
• TV mounting and speaker installation.
• Previous field service experience is advantageous for addressing on-site challenges.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $22.87 - $25.10 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evenings as needed
• Extended hours
• Morning shift
• Weekends as needed
