Role Description
We are seeking an experienced and empathetic Senior Customer Service Representative with experience in a certified call center to join our team. In this role, you will take on a leadership position within our customer service team, handling more complex inquiries, guiding members through the at-home testing process, and ensuring that all interactions are compliant with HIPAA regulations. Spanish language skills are highly preferred to better serve our diverse member base.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls from members and provide exceptional customer service.
- Conduct outreach calls to encourage members to opt-in for at-home test kits.
- Provide clear and concise instructions to members on completing at-home tests.
- Follow up with members to ensure test kits are returned and address any issues or concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of member interactions and follow-up activities in our CRM system.
- Handle sensitive health information in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior customer service representatives.
- Collaborate with team members to improve outreach strategies and member engagement.
Qualifications:
- Senior-level experience in a HIPAA-certified call center is required.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; Spanish language skills are preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a patient and empathetic approach.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in using call center software and CRM systems.
- A commitment to improving health equity and understanding the importance of preventive health care.
