Job Description:
Snug Harbor Rehabilitation & Recovery is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our team in providing high-quality care to clients in our detox and residential programs. As an integral part of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and well-being of our clients throughout their treatment journey.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial nursing assessments and ongoing monitoring of clients in both detox and residential programs
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers
- Monitor vital signs, withdrawal symptoms, and overall health status of clients
- Collaborate with physicians, counselors, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide education and support to clients regarding medication management, health promotion, and self-care strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing assessments, interventions, and client progress
- Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements governing nursing practice and patient care
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Pennsylvania
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience, preferably in a behavioral health or addiction treatment setting
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate and nonjudgmental approach to client care
- Knowledge of addiction treatment principles and practices preferred
