Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and customer-oriented Bartender to join our team for the summer season. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. If you have a passion for bartending and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. Hiring and interviews will take place during April 2024, and training/working hours will begin May-June as we are a seasonal oriented establishment.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Take drink orders from customers and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards
- Ensure that the bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times
- Experience - willing to learn TOAST POS system.
- Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and sanitation guidelines
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Bartender or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong knowledge of retail math and basic math skills for handling cash transactions
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages, brewing techniques, and cocktail recipes
- Familiarity with TOAST POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business
- Must be at least 18 years old
