For more than 46 years, Snyder Construction Group has been a leader within the commercial construction industry in the Midwest. Our team has the resources, experience, and expertise to successfully take projects from inception to completion, delivering on time and under budget, and exceeding client expectations each step of the way. Our company serves as a general contractor for commercial properties. We are currently seeking a Local Project Manager to join our team and work out of our Home Office in Ozark, Missouri. Occasional travel will be required.

At Snyder, our Project Managers are responsible to plan and supervise a wide range of commercial construction projects from start to finish, with a goal of ensuring all projects are delivered on time according to requirements and within budget. Qualified candidates are energetic, forward-thinking individuals with high ethical standards. They exhibit a professional image, have sound technical and problem-solving skills, producing good judgement and strong leadership capabilities. This position requires a self-motivated, versatile, results oriented individual that is experienced in communicating project milestones with clients and other parties, as a team player with a strong desire to succeed. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mind and great organizational skills.

Additional Job Requirements:

  • 5 years minimum commercial construction experience
  • Knowledge of OSHA standards and project safety management
  • Ability to recognize and meet deadlines
  • Good organizational skills with attention to details
  • Excellent supervisory and management skills
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills
  • 4 year Construction Management Degree preferred
  • Computer Skills – proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Autodesk, Bluebeam PDF
  • Must have a valid driver's license

A summary of Responsibilities include but are not limited too:

  • Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of designated project(s) to ensure that goals or objectives of project(s) are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters.
  • Working with the Superintendent, assure subcontractors perform their tasks in conformance with project documents, including preparation of project schedule(s) with input from project personnel to construct facilities designed to client's specifications
  • Prepare detailed subcontracts and purchase agreements
  • Create and maintain project schedules with input from Project Team
  • Strong cost control skills and accountability for financial success of projects
  • Manage relationships between Owner, Design Team, and Subcontractors
  • Conduct OAC and Subcontractor meetings
  • Process and review shop drawings and submittals
  • Prepare monthly applications for payment to Architect and Owner.
  • Perform additional tasks as directed by management.
