Quality Manager – Metals Manufacturing

This critical role offers an exciting opportunity to lead all Quality & Continuous Improvement efforts across 2 local plants (about 30 minutes apart), located an hour west of Chicago, IL. With 500 non-union employees, 2 shifts, and $120M in annual sales, they're looking for a “hands-on” Quality Leader that will drive excellence, inspire a team, and make a direct impact on our manufacturing processes.
What You'll Do :
- Lead and develop a quality team of up to 10 direct reports across multiple shifts, fostering accountability and professional growth.
- Provide direct support on the production floor, ensuring quality standards are upheld in real time.
- Oversee quality operations across 2 manufacturing facilities, maintaining alignment and consistency.
- Drive Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
- Collaborate directly with customers, serving as the face of quality for our client company.
- Maintain and advance compliance with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certifications.
- Hold teams accountable to quality standards, processes, and improvement goals.
