What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2nd Shift Quality Control Technician position at Snyder Manufacturing Inc?
The Quality Control Tech is responsible for testing fabric to ensure it is within specification according to ISO. The position is responsible for testing, recording, and communicating issues in a timely nature to the production line. The test results and retains are recorded and maintained.
Full-time; 2nd shift; starting wage: $24.00/hr; $2.00/hr shift differential
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Test Products according to Quality Control Process for all departments
- Record all test results on QC Test Reports
- Communicate if product is outside of the Product Specifications
- Maintain retains and log
- Test incoming raw materials
- Create notice of rejection reports
- Department quality audits
- Root cause and CAR’s for customer communications or NOR’s
- Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2 years manufacturing experience
- Familiar with ISO 9001
