Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Drive Train Splitter to join our team at Snyder's Auto Salvage. In this role, you will be responsible for:
Separating, Preparing, and Staging Components:
* Use a forklift to retrieve drivetrain components from the dismantlers bay
* Separate and prepare components for delivery or storage
* Ensure all components are properly staged and ready for shipment or storage
Completing Engine Work Sheets and Obtaining Dismantling Packets:
* Obtain dismantling packets as needed
* Complete engine work sheets accurately and efficiently
Conducting Compression Tests and Managing Waste Fluid Separators:
* Conduct compression tests on drivetrain components as needed
* Manage waste fluid separators and containment units to maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
* High school diploma or equivalent (not required)
* Ability to lift and carry heavy loads (up to 75 pounds occasionally)
* Familiarity with personal protective equipment and heavy equipment operation
* Forklift RTF K586 experience a plus
