Job Summary
The part-time Coordinator, Marketing position is responsible for the creation and production of promotional materials for both print and digital media that support District-wide marketing, branding, and communication efforts.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate’s degree in marketing, communications, a related field, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- One (1) year of relevant experience.
The successful applicant must pass a required pre-employment background check, and subsequent mandatory background checks in accordance with current District policy requirements.
Essential Functions

- Design and prepare visual marketing materials such as copy layouts, ads, flyers, posters, signs, and other media.
- Create engaging content for the District's marketing channels, including print media, radio, and social media accounts.
- Create engaging text, image, and video content for District social media accounts by researching current trends and attracting prospective patrons with promotions and competitions.
- Measure social media traffic and patron engagement.
- Assist with email campaigns, including template designs and copywriting.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the District's programs, facilities, and offerings to the community to effectively market the variety of opportunities within the District.
- Ensure brand consistency through all marketing efforts and across departments.
- Assist the Community Outreach staff with District events.
- Assist the Marketing Supervisor in creating and updating website content, troubleshooting problems, maintaining design consistency, and planning future changes.

- Adobe Creative Suite applications.
- Canva design program.

- Duties are typically performed in a general office setting or a remote location, such as a home office.

- Work effectively with crowds and uncooperative individuals, difficult situations, emergencies, or periods of continuous demand.
- Remote workdays may be available for this position after completing the six-month orientation period but are not guaranteed.
