Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Medical Assistant/Comprehensive Perinatal Services Program (C.P.S.P.) to join our healthcare team. Will work under the direct supervision of the Clinic Administrator.
Duties
- Will be responsible for ongoing Prenatal/Postpartum health education services on a one-on-one basis or in groups.
- The CPSP will facilitate access for women to existing medical/clinical services, their children, and their families.
- The CPSP worker will participate in educational and awareness campaigns to develop collaborative support and referral for the clinic. S/he will develop program reports, narrative activity descriptions, reviews, and other reports for evaluating and analyzing program activities.
- May assist in writing proposals and generating quarterly reports to management and funding sources.
- Will perform other related duties as assigned by the Clinic Administrator.
Experience
- H.S. Diploma and three (3) years experience in community development work. Requires CPSP Certification.
Requirements:
- Must possess a dependable automobile with insurance and a valid California Driver's License.
- Must submit to and pass a drug test and criminal background check as a precondition to employment.
- Must provide proof of vaccination for COVID-19 with booster, Hepatitis B, TDAP, and MMR. Must provide recent TB test.
- BLS/CPR certification required.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.50 - $24.50 per hour
