POSITION: Behavioral Health Technician
SUPERVISED BY: Operations Manager
POSITION/INDIVIDUALS SUPERVISED Participants
CLASSIFICATION Non-exempt
SALARY: TBD
JOB SUMMARY:
The behavioral health technician helps facilitate clients daily activities in accordance with their current level of treatment. Technicians are expected to be polite and professional and maintain up to date any required certifications, etc.
DUTIES:
Transport clients if needed.
Transport clients to and from the programming center.
Prepare snacks
Light cleaning
Support clinical team in administration duties (filing, sign-in sheets)
Attend and participate in all staff meetings.
Perform routine drug screenings and breathalyzer tests to the clients.
Monitor the clients to ensure their safety and adherence to program rules.
Report to the appropriate supervisor any issues a client is having that require clinical intervention and/or discipline.
Other related tasks as needed
EDUCATION: High school diploma or higher
EXPERIENCE: 1 year of experience with 12-step programs.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Registered with CCAPP as a RADT. Annual TB test, Food Handlers Certification, NARCAN Training and First Aid Certification
