Finance Manager – Patient Financial Services

What You’ll Do
As a Finance Manager – Patient Financial Services , you will :
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead and support a team of financial professionals, fostering collaboration, trust, and performance excellence .
- Provide ongoing training to ensure employees are up to date on state and federal regulations .
- Create a positive work environment , encouraging process improvements and team contributions.
Billing, Cash Posting & Collections
Drive cash flow and accounts receivable (AR) resolution , ensuring timely payments from all payers.Monitor variances in expected reimbursement and take corrective action.Collaborate with IT and electronic billing vendors to optimize system accuracy.Work with various departments to ensure proper CPT-4, HCPCS, and revenue codes for accurate billing.Oversee refunds, write-offs, adjustments, and credit arrangements , ensuring compliance with policies.Compliance & Risk Management
Ensure adherence to state, federal, and HIPAA regulations .Provide Medicare updates and payer changes affecting reimbursement.Oversee Medicare Bad Debt Log and vendor reconciliation .Reporting & Performance Monitoring
Prepare and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly financial reports .Track key revenue cycle performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvement strategies.Maintain logs and reports related to claims, billing holds, and collections performance .What You’ll Need
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (finance, healthcare administration, business, etc.).7 years of experience in healthcare financial management, revenue cycle operations, or a related field.Strong analytical skills with expertise in accounts receivable, cash flow management, and billing .Ability to lead teams, drive process improvements, and ensure compliance with financial regulations.What Would Be Nice to Have
Deep understanding of the healthcare revenue cycle , including payer reimbursement policies .Experience managing financial teams in a fast-paced healthcare or corporate environment.Strong communication and collaboration skills across multiple departments.Salary & Benefits
