Senior Skilled Nursing Administrator
We are seeking an experienced Senior Skilled Nursing Administrator to oversee operations across multiple skilled nursing communities. This role provides strategic leadership, ensures regulatory compliance, and maintains high-quality care while optimizing operational efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in long-term care management and a commitment to excellence in resident services.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Operations
- Provide strategic direction and operational oversight for multiple skilled nursing communities.
- Support and mentor Skilled Nursing Administrators to enhance community performance.
- Ensure daily operations align with policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Act as interim administrator when needed.
Regulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Ensure compliance with CMS, OSHA, HIPAA, and state/federal regulations.
- Conduct audits and site visits to maintain operational and quality standards.
- Assist communities in survey preparation and corrective action plans.
Resident Care & Satisfaction
- Monitor care quality and implement improvement initiatives.
- Address resident and family concerns, ensuring a high standard of service.
- Analyze quality data and drive performance improvements.
Financial Oversight
- Manage budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining care quality.
- Review financial statements and implement corrective actions as needed.
Staffing & Development
- Lead recruitment, training, and professional development for Skilled Nursing Administrators.
- Ensure proper staffing levels to meet resident care and operational needs.
Crisis Management & Emergency Preparedness
- Provide leadership during crises, including staffing shortages and emergencies.
- Ensure communities have up-to-date emergency response plans.
Communication & Collaboration
- Act as a liaison between corporate leadership and community administrators.
- Facilitate meetings to share best practices and address challenges.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or Business required; Master’s (MHA, MBA) preferred.
- Experience:
- 2-3 years in a regional leadership role overseeing multiple skilled nursing facilities.
- 5-7 years as a Skilled Nursing Administrator or in senior long-term care leadership.
- Active Skilled Nursing Administrator License in applicable state(s).
- Strong knowledge of state & federal nursing facility regulations.
- Financial management expertise, including budgeting and resource allocation.
- Proficiency in EHR systems, Microsoft Office, and healthcare reporting tools.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to travel extensively and respond to emergencies.
