Are you passionate about designing and maintaining cutting-edge printed circuit boards for advanced lighting products? Join our team as a PCB Layout Engineer , where you’ll play a key role in designing, releasing, and maintaining PCB layouts, ensuring optimal performance from prototype assembly through full product release.
Key Responsibilities :
- Design printed circuit boards to support lighting product development using Altium.
- Produce schematics, Gerber files, BOMs, and manufacturing drawings to support product development and manufacturing.
- Provide technical expertise on PCB layout and trade-offs in the design of lighting products.
- Manage PCB layout activities from concept through production release.
- Collaborate with compliance teams for UL, IEC, CE, and other country-specific certifications as needed.
- Review and evaluate product specifications to ensure accuracy and alignment with design requirements.
- Perform calculations for sizing electrical components based on product needs.
- Evaluate and recommend alternate components and materials to enhance product performance.
- Assist with prototype assembly and evaluation to ensure quality standards.
- Interface with other departments (e.g., R&D, purchasing, manufacturing, quality, warranty) to ensure seamless development and production.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
