We are seeking a Project Engineer responsible for Control Systems to oversee the core design of machine control systems and electronics architecture. This position will analyze and provide realistic recommendations on electrical components to ensure that designs meet project goals, machine requirements, and customer needs.
Duties :
Including but not limited to :
- Manage the coordination and overall integration of control systems design activities for engineering projects.
- Collaborate with internal product groups to design machine control systems, user interfaces, wire harnessing, and overall electronics architecture.
- Direct, review, or approve product design changes related to control systems.
- Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to finalize product specifications.
- Schedule, execute, and oversee testing of product design, operation, or repair of equipment.
- Support, supervise, and assist Engineering and Assembly Technicians in building and testing prototypes and production machines.
- Analyze production and field issues and create solutions.
- Develop bills of materials and manage supplier quality, product reviews, and cost estimates.
- Develop and implement policies, standards, or procedures for engineering and technical work.
- Supervise assigned personnel and perform administrative functions such as reviewing reports and approving expenditures.
- Follow safe design practices to prevent user injury and property damage.
- Travel up to 15% of the time.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree preferred in Mechanical, Industrial, Agriculture, or Electrical Engineering.
Ability to read, write, and comprehend documents and correspondence.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Experience in software development using Danfoss Plus 1 Guide, C, C , or similar PLC / logic-based programming languages.
Ability to identify the root cause of failed or defective parts and recommend and implement product design solutions.
