What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Engineer I - Extraction - J476 position at Soap Creek Resources?
Under general direction, the Project Engineer I is responsible for managing multiple projects including process engineering, general design, project management, startup, and inspection; ensuring accuracy, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
Duties : Including but not limited to :
- Provide project management efforts from conception through final startup of multiple projects by meeting contract timelines, tracking and minimizing project costs, assuring proper design and purchase of equipment, checking drawings, and having thorough documentation; ensure accuracy, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures.
- Travel as required to support project execution. Provide technical, and field assistance and / or training for customers in maintenance, installation, startup, and operation of Extraction and connected processes. This may also include fabrication inspection.
- Perform various engineering calculations and analyses related to process design and equipment sizing and selection.
- Provide engineering support to customers, and the Sales, R&D, and Aftermarket teams for the Extraction processes.
- Respond to requests and work integrally with internal and external customers to provide efficient designs to meet project requirements.
- Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
