Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth flow of service in our establishment. Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a warm and inviting atmosphere.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using the TOAST POS system or similar.
- Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and special requests.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Assist in coordinating the flow of service between the front of house and kitchen staff.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
- Support the team during busy periods by helping with guest services as needed.
- Uphold phone etiquette when answering calls to take reservations or provide information.
Requirements
- Previous experience in guest relations or customer service is preferred.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly TOAST POS, is a plus.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively.
- A passion for hospitality and commitment to providing outstanding guest experiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Prior experience in restaurant settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
