Speech Language Pathologist Job Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary clinic at Soar Autism Center. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality speech therapy services to children with autism and their families.
About the Role:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with other clinical specialties (BCBAs, OTs, psychologists).
- Create personalized communication interventions, including augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices, to support client communication.
- Work collaboratively with BCBAs, RBTs, occupational therapists, and mental health professionals, including co-treatments with the occupational therapy team.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress, update treatment plans, and communicate changes to team members and families.
Requirements:
- Possess a Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
- Hold a valid license to practice speech pathology.
- Have prior experience with AAC or demonstrate a willingness to learn from our clinical teams.
