Role Description
As an Autism Specialist at Soar, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team that assesses, diagnoses, and treats communication disorders in children with ASD. You will design and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication skills of children aged 2-6, utilizing evidence-based practices tailored to meet the unique needs of each child. You will collaborate closely with behavior analysts, occupational therapists, and psychologists to provide holistic care.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- You should be passionate about working with children with autism and have a strong commitment to providing exceptional care.
- Master's Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
- License to practice speech pathology in the state of your chosen center.
- Prior experience with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) or interest in learning from our clinical teams.
