Child Behavior Support Specialist

The role of a Child Behavior Support Specialist, or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) is integral to our mission. By utilizing the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), a form of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy centered around play and engagement, you'll contribute to meaningful, life-changing progress for children and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized ABA therapy to children aged 2-6 in a clinic setting, ensuring a high standard of care.Execute intervention plans developed by our skilled BCBAs, following ABA therapy principles.
• Foster strong, supportive relationships with families, regularly communicating progress and goals.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development, staying informed about best practices in ABA therapy.

Qualifications:

• Preference for candidates pursuing or holding a degree in Child Development, Psychology, or a related field.
• Capability to obtain and maintain RBT certification (Soar provides paid training).
• Previous experience working with children, coupled with a genuine passion for their development.
• Reliable transportation to training and local centers; punctuality is a must.
• Ability to meet physical requirements, including frequent sitting, standing, quick movements, lifting up to 50 lbs., and engaging in floor-based play with children.
• Proficiency with digital tools, including computers and tablets.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
