Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team at Soar Autism Center.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders in children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
- Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans to improve communication skills of children aged 2-6, utilizing a variety of therapeutic strategies and tools
- Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team, including behavior analysts, occupational therapists, and psychologists, to provide holistic care
- Engage families in the therapeutic process, providing education, resources, and support to enhance their child's communication development
- Continuously monitor and document progress, adjusting interventions as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes
Requirements
- Masters Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program
- Prior experience with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) or interest in learning from our clinical teams
- Ability to connect and engage with young children
