Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Home Care Aides to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. As a Home Care Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting clients with daily activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting independence.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Support clients in daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
• Observe and report changes in clients' health status or behavior to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Implement care plans developed by healthcare providers, ensuring adherence to prescribed routines.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to enhance their emotional well-being.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
• Assist with mobility and transportation needs as required, ensuring safe travel to appointments or outings.
• Collaborate with family members and other caregivers to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in home community care or caregiving is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of patient observation techniques and the ability to implement care plans effectively.
• Familiarity with home health services, or social work principles is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families.
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others maintain their independence at home.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Work Location: In person
