Live-in Caregiver

Seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide high-quality care to individuals in their homes. This role is essential in supporting clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety while promoting their independence. Ideal candidates will have experience in caregiving, particularly with patients requiring long-term care, memory care, or support for developmental disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide meal preparation and ensure clients receive proper nutrition.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Support clients with mobility and transportation needs, including accompanying them to appointments.
• Monitor and document changes in clients' health status and report any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the quality of life for clients.
• Assist with medication reminders and ensure adherence to prescribed health regimens.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in caregiving or home health preferred, particularly in long-term care or hospice care settings.
• Ability to perform cleaning tasks effectively while maintaining a respectful environment for clients.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others are essential qualities for this role.
• Must be able to pass background checks as required by state regulations.
• Certification in caregiving or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.63 - $21.66 per hour
