Traveling Construction Superintendent for Buildings - Construction .
Working with: Large Scale Chillers, Coolers, Electrical, Plumbing. MEP Super
Our team includes seasoned certified construction professionals cross-trained in design, project and risk management, and health and safety compliance. Cross-training makes our team collaborative, cognizant and confidently pragmatic in understanding design and construction issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Superintendent will assist other Superintendents and be a primary point of contact at the project site. Additionally, this individual will be responsible for providing overall on-site field administration, support, some supervision, inspection and technical management for construction operations. The Superintendent will coordinate and execute the work, along with the Project Manager, in accordance with the plans/specifications and remain consistent with the project schedule.
EDUCATION AND LICENSURE
- High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree preferred
- Valid driver's license required
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 5 years of construction superintendent experience in industrial, mechanical or electrical construction
- Experience with industrial and/or heavy commercial projects ranging in size from $1M to $5M
- Demonstrates problem-solving skills, the ability to exercise discretion and the ability to make independent judgments
- Extensive travel will be required based on the project type and location
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Microsoft Project
- Excellent oral and written communications are required
- Ability to understand and interpret client’s contracts
- Strong ability to work in a team environment
- Professional, dedicated and focused
- Must provide a high level of service and responsiveness to client and co-workers
- Must be willing to travel 100%
