1st Shift is 5:50am-2:20pm and 6:00am-2:30pm.
2nd Shift is 1:30pm-10:00pm.

A Day in the Life of:
As a member of our team, you will report to the Janitorial Supervisor. You will be assigned various tasks in the cleaning realm, from vacuuming, dusting, mopping, trash removal, etc. These are all most likely jobs that you have performed once, twice, or many times in the past. You will be responsible for ensuring that the appropriate chemicals and cleaning supplies are stocked and all equipment is in clean and operable condition for the day's work. Your people skills will come in handy and will help you to maintain fantastic professional relationships with your fellow team members and those that we serve.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Maintains a safe and clean work environment
- Notifies janitorial supervisor of any changes or problems that may occur and documents them according to specified procedures.
- Informs janitorial supervisor immediately of any problems that delay the start of any task assigned due to supply needs.
- Completes all tasks assigned by janitorial supervisor
- Participates in meetings and trainings as required.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Completion of high school or GED preferred, but not required.
- Able to work a flexible schedule for 1st and 2nd shift.
- Janitorial experience or experience in cleaning and maintaining assigned facilities/buildings in a manner that meets job expectations.
- Valid VA driver's license
- Occasional weekend work is required
- Good oral and written communication skills for positive and clear interactions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency to work as part of a team.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Capability to do repetitious bending at the waist and kneeling.
