A Day in the Life of:
As a member of our team, you will provide support to students with disabilities as a skills trainer. This includes work-based learning activities, work experience training, etc. This position is both in the community and school systems. Your people skills will come in handy and will help you to maintain fantastic professional relationships with your fellow team members and those that we serve.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Provides direct training and support to students enrolled in the Pre-ETS Program.
- Implements activities using specified training techniques and interventions related to but not limited to developing, maintaining and strengthening employment skills.
- Assists in the development, implementation and monitoring of an effective instructional program for 14-22-year-old students with disabilities in areas of career exploration and planning, independent living, self-advocacy, and community involvement.
- Assists in the identification and implementation of processes, procedures, and best practices aligned to evidence-based practices
- Provides transportation in agency provided vehicle when required.
- Identify and meet with business who are interested in working with students in work-based learning activities and work experience internships.
- Completes all documentation for assigned students in a timely manner.
- Attends and acts as the liaison to transition fairs, student transition meetings, and family workshops.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required or completing a Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as Rehabilitation Counseling, Special Education, Psychology, Human Services or Social Work.
- A minimum of three years' experience working with persons with disabilities required.
- Supported/ Customized Employment experience a significant plus, job development and/or business-to-business sales a plus.
- Knowledge of research and evidence-based practice in transition, career development, vocational training, and school to career programming.
- Holds a valid driving license with an acceptable driving record and maintains driving eligibility during the course of employment.
