- Provides direct training, supervision and support to Skills Trainers working in the Pre ETS program.
- Leads the development, implementation, and monitoring of an effective instructional program for 14-18 year old students and 18-22-year-old young adults with disabilities in areas of career exploration and planning, workplace readiness, self-advocacy, and community work experience opportunities.
- Identification and implementation of processes, procedures, and best practices aligned to evidence-based practices.
- Provides transportation in agency provided vehicle when required.
- Develops business partners for student work-based learning and work experiences
- Completes all documentation for assigned consumers in a timely manner.
- Develops and implements career fairs, transition fairs, school transition meetings, and family workshops.
- Bachelor's Degree required or completing a Bachelor's Degree in a related field such as Rehabilitation Counseling, Special Education, Psychology, Human Services or Social Work.
- A minimum of three years' experience working with persons with disabilities required. Supported/ Customized Employment experience a significant plus, job development and/or business-to-business sales a plus.
- Knowledge of research and evidence-based practice in transition, career development, vocational training, and school to career programming.
- Requires the ability to create relationships with employers and individuals to create a network for employment of persons with disabilities.
- Holds a valid driving license with an acceptable driving record and maintains driving eligibility during employment. Must pass a SOAR365 driving test for specific consumer transport vehicles if applicable.
