Clinical Instructor

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Clinical Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in educating and mentoring students in clinical settings, ensuring they acquire the necessary skills and knowledge to excel in their healthcare careers. This position requires a strong background in patient care, acute care, and senior care, along with proficiency in learning technologies and classroom instruction.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on training and supervision to students during clinical rotations, ensuring adherence to best practices in patient care.
• Conduct documentation reviews to assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with faculty and healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive learning environment that supports student success.
• Stay current with advancements in healthcare practices, particularly in areas such as pediatrics and phlebotomy, to ensure relevant instruction.
• Foster a supportive learning atmosphere that encourages student participation and growth.

Qualifications

• Previous teaching experience in higher education is highly desirable, particularly within clinical education.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with students and colleagues.
• A passion for teaching and mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
