As a Member Advisor, you will:
- Process teller transactions
- Open new membership accounts
- Complete consumer loan applications
- Provide general account information and support the overall operations of the financial center
You will identify members' financial needs and offer Soarion Credit Union products and services to fulfill our members' needs. This includes occasional remote work for select positions, subject to prior approval by management.
To strengthen relationships with members, you will engage in face-to-face or phone conversations to cross-sell and up-sell credit union products and services that meet identified needs and maximize retention.
Your responsibilities will include accurately processing financial transactions, such as accepting and posting deposits and payments, cashing checks, making transfers, loan and visa advances, counting coins, wire transfers, redeeming bonds, selling travelers' checks and money orders, and preparing and processing account maintenance.
You will also open and maintain various types of accounts, including share, checking, money market, certificates of deposit, IRA's, HSA's, or business accounts.
In addition, you will process consumer loan applications according to Credit Union and regulatory compliance guidelines and provide members with general account information regarding their account balances and transactions performed.
Maintaining a balanced cash drawer is also essential, as is following Soarion Credit Union procedures in the event of a robbery to safeguard members and employees.
You must be available to work overtime and Saturdays, as needed.
