Job Title: Inpatient Clinician
Reports To: Clinical Director and Administrator
Shifts Available: Full-time
Salary Range: $52K-$62K/annually
Program Overview:
SOBA New Jersey is a leading, luxury Inpatient Detoxification and Short-Term Residential program striving to provide clients and their families with compassionate, comfortable, and evidenced-based addiction recovery services. Clinical programming includes 12-Step recovery foundations while also providing the most up-to-date, best practices to address the multifaceted components of sustained recovery from addiction and mental health disorders.
Position Overview:
SOBA New Jersey is seeking a qualified, licensed, Inpatient Clinician to provid direct services to clients in collaboration with a treatment team in our Detoxification and Short-Term Residential setting. The Inpatient Clinician ensures that quality of care is provided to all clients according to their individual needs using group, individual, and family therapy, as well as working with the case management and medical treatment teams to provide full-spectrum substance abuse services. Candidates should be comfortable with utilizing a variety of substance abuse therapies techniques including Motivational Interviewing (MI), Short-Term, Solution Focused Therapy, 12-Step group facilitation, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and/or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and should be comfortable facilitating group therapy. One of the following licensures is required for this position: LSW, LCSW, LAC, LPC, CADC, or LCADC.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide support to individuals entering early recovery
- Demonstrate ability to manage a caseload of individual clients
- Provide complete and thorough assessments of each client
- Demonstrate ability to facilitate educational and psychodynamic addiction and mental health recovery-based groups
- Complete documentation within EMR in a timely and accurate manner, including but not limited to, group note documentation, one on one sessions, family sessions etc.
- Demonstrate ability to check-in with clients on an individualized, as needed basis according to level of care
- Demonstrate ability to individualize treatment planning, and discharge planning with each client
- Demonstrate ability to provide crisis intervention and/or crisis stabilization when necessary
- Attend weekly collaborative meetings and supervision to ensure quality of care
- Consult with Administrator, and other staff members to ensure quality of care when necessary
- Comply with local, state, and federal confidentiality laws and regulations
- Demonstrate sensitivity and responsiveness to cultural differences
- Abide by SOBA New Jersey’s code of ethics and moral values
Qualifications:
- Current license (New Jersey) as a LCADC or CADC
OR
- Current license (New Jersey) to practice independently as LCSW or LPC
OR
- Current license (New Jersey) to practice as LSW or LAC working towards above license and dually working toward LCADC or CADC
- Two (2) years of experience working with an adult population in a facility setting
- If in recovery, must have at least two (2) years sober
