Role Description
We are searching for a project manager who will be in charge of delivering significant projects that are highly important to our customer. You will make strategic and technical choices on the project schedule, budget, and resource requirements, and you'll lead with an eye toward delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide budget, schedule and implementation plan for site Global CCTV system and related components. Oversee execution of plan including monitoring costs and schedule during installation of system and components.
- Ability to take on additional scope and deliverables to manage aspects of the IT Infrastructure (server rooms/MDFs and/or data closets/IDFs) – developing and executing implementation plans.
- Identify and track local risks and issues
- Coordinate local resources
- Coordinate with local QC and QA to ensure compliance
- Coordinate local closing windows
- Responsible for local planning
- Responsible for local coordination
- Responsible for local estimates/budget
- The position will focus on IT and Automation infrastructure and the implementation of related systems within the new building(s) while interfacing with stakeholders.
- Project manager with experience and a background in engineering
- Delivering complex technical projects on schedule, on budget, and with success in the past
- A commitment to making sure that optimum project management methods are used and that a culture of effective delivery is created
- Good commercial awareness and the ability to make wise financial decisions that maximise project value. A proactive approach to safety with a good understanding of UK compliance needs in design
- Excellent influencing and teamwork abilities
- Knowledge of contemporary standards in the fields of quality assurance and safety, health, and the environment
- Knowledge of change management and document control systems
- Desirable standards and qualifications
- A solid understanding of fusion science and a project management qualification, or progress toward Chartered status in a relevant STEM discipline
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related fields (Required).
- Min 5 years Project Management experience.
- Min 2 years of People Management experience.
- MBA/PMP (Preferred).
- Pharmaceutical Industry experience preferred but not required.
- Experience with green field project
- Large enterprise level multi-year infrastructure project experience preferred.
- Onsite – 5 days/week.
- Soben will solely responsible for Relocation and associated cost.
- Expectation is that the right resource will be available for a multi-year term, dedicated full time to the project
