Key Responsibilities
Prepare costed Estimate / Cost Plan for review including benchmarkingDevelop a variety of Value Engineering / Life Cycle Costing optionsIdentify potential risks and assist with preparing and maintaining the Risk RegisterContribute at meetings on the Pre-contract ProcessContribute and assist in preparation of the Procurement Strategy / ReportAttend Client meetings along with senior colleagues as required and record relevant discussion points and actionsAttend Design Team meetings, capture and advise on potential cost implications and implement meeting outcomesAssist in lease negotiations and validation of the tenant improvement allowanceContribute and assist in development of project templatesAssist with change order logs, invoice logs, cost reports, etcAssist with measurements and research pricing for Development AppraisalsDraft and finalize the Pre-Qualification Questionnaire for reviewReview and tabulate PQQ responsesPerform additional duties as assignedPreferred Qualification / Relevant Experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institutionMinimum 5 years of experience in cost estimatingProficient in the use of advanced functions in CostX to produce estimates, bills etc.Proficient in the use of the required functions in Microsoft Office skills, (e.g., Excel, Word & PowerPoint) to an appropriate levelKnowledge of relevant construction technologies and trends (Sustainability) to assist on appropriate options and cost implicationsTeam player with the ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing.Organized and detailed orientedField experience a plusData Center experience would be a bonus.Outstanding communication skills (verbal and writing).
Salary : $140,000 - $160,000
