SUMMARY OF POSITION / PURPOSE :
The successful Service Coordinator directs, controls, and monitors the activities of the company's Service Technicians, while also keeping customers up to date on technicians’ arrival times and potential rescheduling. Contributes to the company's bottom line by maximizing Technician efficiency, service & repairs revenue, and service invoicing. The Coordinator will support business goals and business development by nurturing customer relations and building a positive company image. This position will also work closely with the Service Manager to handle various aspects of project coordination, including material ordering, project invoicing, and technician scheduling.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and computer skills; able to work with multiple software applications and talk on the phone at the same time {multi-task).
- Be familiar with customer locations and use GPS mapping applications to determine drive time.
- Knowledge of fire protection and industry experience is very helpful.
Familiarity with fire protection industries would also be a plus but is not required. We will train the right person! Are you dependable? Do you have excellent phone skills? Do you have a proven ability to meet or exceed set goals? Do you have good communication skills, both verbally and written? Are you attentive to detail? WORK SCHEDULE
This position requires flexibility and a willingness to work occasional evenings and weekends.
