What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Associate position at Sobo & Sobo, LLP?
Sobo & Sobo is adding to our facilities maintenance team! As a Building Maintenance Associate, you would be required to assist with building upkeep and repairs at multiple locations. The maintenance worker's duties and responsibilities often include and require:
- On-Call snow removal
- Assisting with pest control and landscaping
- Candidates must be able to provide a clean MVR report from DMV and provide proof of current car insurance
- Performing general maintenance tasks for the building or buildings, such as assisting with drywall repair, plastering, carpentry, flooring repair, painting, window washing, and more
- Assist with conducting routine basic maintenance on equipment and building systems
- Basic working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems
- Working knowledge of hand tools and equipment
- Completing safety checks on systems and equipment
- Maintaining records of any work and inspections done on-premises
- Keeping tools and supplies clean and organized
- Assisting with installing new furniture and equipment
- Ensuring all safety systems are functioning properly, including smoke and carbon monoxide detectors
- Assisting with detecting, identifying and repairing building issues
- Knowledge of safety standards and building codes and regulations
- Responding to and completing maintenance requests in a timely manner
